Hi, I’m DaQuan.
DaQuan Louden · Founder of Guppy
Guppy started on my desk, under a pile of sticky notes. I was learning calisthenics and following a bunch of athletes who share their workouts online. Every one of them had an app or a course, and I couldn’t buy them all, so I’d pause their videos and scribble the workouts down by hand. It worked, kind of.
Then there’s my nephew. He boxes, and his training is a mix: calisthenics like mine, plus all the boxing drills that come with it. Thinking about his training, I figured there was no reason one app couldn’t keep up with both.
So Guppy isn’t just a calisthenics app anymore. Pull-ups, boxing drills, a gym day, pilates, a run: if you train it, you can build it, and log every set as reps, time, distance or weight.
And if the workout you want is sitting in a video, paste the link. Guppy pulls out the exercises for you, and you can tweak anything before you start.
Then just follow along, log what you did, and it’ll be waiting in your history next time.
I’m still learning, and Guppy is growing right alongside me. Whatever you’re training for, I hope it makes the work a little easier to keep track of, and a little more fun. Thanks for swimming by.
If Guppy sounds useful, you can also check out my other apps and follow along as I build.
